Torreblanca is a new Country Inn located in the ancient town of Guadarrama (Madrid, Spain) with a great amount of Historical and Cultural riches, next to the National Park El Gurugú where you can go hiking or have some environmental education and La Jarosa reservoir. This Country Inn has four different spaces: a beautiful terrace where you can enjoy some nice gin&tonic or cocktails, their rooms where you can sleep and have a deserved rest in the quite mountains, a wonderful Grill where you can enjoy the best meats and let yourself seduced by the chef Alberto Moreno Vaquero (Spanish representative at Bocuse d’Or 2014) with a special menu.
In their restaurant is where we enjoyed a wonderful menu with one of the best Spanish wines elaborated with Merlot and Monastrell (Enrique Mendoza, 2010). As entrance we had a Cheese selection and as main courses we had entrecote, a lobster risotto, shoulder of Iberian pork and baby squid filled with ox tail. Their homemade desserts is something you can’t miss, one of their specialties is roasted pepper ice cream. Really nice! (38,50€/pers. Bottle of wine, coffee and dessert included). A wonderful experience, we will certainly be back again soon!
If you are visiting Madrid, don’t miss the mountains and this wonderful place where you can find everything for a nice price.
