We go through Navarra. I love the wines from this area but for one reason or other have not had opportunity to taste many wines from this area, and nothing better to reconnect with one of my favorite D.O. than with a white one fermented in oak barrel , a chardonnay: full bodied, powerful and those kind of white ones with whom I enjoy spending an afternoon sharing with friends, to refresh and enjoy.

Señorío del Sarria is a winery located in Puente La Reina (Navarra) , located in the heart of the Camino de Santiago. It’s a must visit to enjoy high quality wines, well structured and elaborated. Perfect to enjoy the surrounds and understand the wine from a different point view and get to know the story behind the bottle.

Our tasting notes:

Señorío del Sarria Viñedo nº3

D.O. Navarra

Chardonnay fermented in oak barrel

13,5%vol. Alcohol

Price: from  8,03€

Colour: gold with toasted hues.

In the nose attacks with anise and candy notes, woody as a Oporto wine. Delicious aromas with note of raisins and tropical fruits.

In the palate is smooth, spicy, intense, tasty with a long and toasted after taste. Very creamy, sweet and envolving. Well balanced and easy to drink. Powerful but structured.

What do you think about this wine? What other wine from Navarra do you recommend us?.
